Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kiyosumi Shirakawa

It's location seconds away from the subway entrance was the highlight of this hotel.

The smell throughout the room and bathroom was not bearable. The bathroom also had a very large step to climb to get in.

Convenient access to city with subway station next door. Great breakfast. Quiet neighborhood.

For two people room was small. Hotel did not offer food (cafe) or coffee. If want to eat you will have to leave hotel. We came across a very good good hole in the wall restaurant right next to McDonald Room was on first floor and had no view from windo

Wonderful staff, great complimentary breakfast, and great location next to a subway station. Room was clean and service was greaf. I¿d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo.

The hotel stuffs were so pleasant.

There was an extra fee for staying with a child and wish it was clear during the reservation.

The breakfast was very good and gave us the opportunity to eat before long days of walking. They were also right next to the subway so travel to and from the hotel was very easy.

Breakfast is great value and location is very convenient not too close to tourism crowds so it allows us to enjoy and immerse in local neighborhood but easy to commute to some popular sightseeing spots.

The room was clean and comfortable, with all needed facilities. They give you clean towels/new toothbrushes every day, offer room cleaning. The staff also was very kind and helpful The property was right next to a train station and a FamilyMart, which was very convenient

Hotel is located directly next to a train station exit so it’s very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and full of dogs! Lovely area to stay in.

I didn't like that we paid for double occupancy but received only a single-occupancy room. It was extremely uncomfortable to stay there for over 5 days and have to shimmy through each other just to move around the room. We tried to resolve this with both the property and Booking.com, but we didn't get any resolution other than to just deal with it. They were unwilling to help or change our room to an actual "double occupancy" room like we paid for. It was an extremely uncomfortable stay. The room sizes for "double occupancy" are too small for two people, so I would find a hotel that better accommodates two people.

The breakfast was excellent, healthy and tasty.

Size of the room, but we understand that applies to most of the hotels in Tokyo.

Very comfortable stay, and the location is perfect with the subway right next door. There’s even a supermarket at the entrance, which is super convenient.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and staff did there best to answer any questions we had about the ingredients. We like how close it was to the subway and a convenient store.

I did not enjoy the coffee but that may just be my personal taste. We also found the bathrooms too small with an awkward high step into which often resulted in one of us smacking our toes.

Great location, convenient store and subway station just downstairs, super friendly staff. Breakfast was alright, a bit crowded though. The restaurant area is opened till late night if you want to find a place to use laptop. Coin laundry is available but only got 2 machines, so could bit quite a wait.

Late night siren noise from the street could be annoying so next time I should ask if room at higher floor is available.

Staff is great and helpful, sometimes it's hard to get aligned but translator solves all of the problems. Rooms are cleaned every day with a diligence to details.

Overall, the price/value ratio could be better, you can find better (bigger) options in similar price range in Tokyo. When you are in the hotel you can feel that a lot of time has flown through the corridors.
